  • Actively respond to and oversee emergency and urgent orders, including escalation handling and follow-up.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for the local Customer Service (CS) organization on material and logistics topics.

  • Communicate directly with internal stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood, aligned, and fulfilled end-to-end.

  • Actively manage relationships with external logistics providers, freight forwarders, and vendors to ensure demand fulfillment.

  • Maintain effective collaboration with stakeholders at peer level and be able to convince TL/GL-level stakeholders on complex topics such as process improvements or conflicting priorities.

Issue Resolution & Escalation Management:

  • Monitor daily operations and follow up on escalations related to material availability, quantity mismatches, delivery issues, or system deviations.

  • Resolve operational issues by performing root cause analysis and drive preventive actions to avoid reoccurrence

  • Communicate issues and resolutions clearly to relevant operational departments.

Data, Reporting & Analytics:

  • Collect, interpret, and analyze data from multiple sources to support operational steering, reporting, and deep-dive analyses.

  • Monitor performance with stakeholders and identify opportunities for improvement using data-driven insights.

Systems, Tools & Continuous Improvement:

  • Work with established operational planning systems and tools (e.g. SAP, Excel, Power BI, Spotfire).

  • Identify data inputs, planning parameters, and system limitations; report issues and drive enhancements of existing tools and processes

  • Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including medium-sized improvement projects (e.g. Lean / A3 methodology).

  • Drive projects to further develop end-to-end logistics and supply chain processes.

Team Contribution:

  • Act as a mentor for junior colleagues, sharing knowledge of processes, systems, and best practices.

  • Take ownership of assigned topics and support other team members when needed.

  • Perform other relevant assignments according to business needs.

Education & Experience:

  • Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree with equivalent working and thinking level in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.

  • 3–5 years of experience in operational planning, supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations, preferably within a large international company.

  • Hands-on experience with operational planning processes, tools, and execution environments

  • Experience in customer interaction and stakeholder relationship management is a strong advantage.

  • Experience in warehouse operations and freight forwarding is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.

  • Advanced data analysis skills (e.g. Excel, Power BI, Spotfire, planning tools).

About ASML

Who are we?

ASML is an innovation leader in the global semiconductor industry. We make machines that chipmakers use to mass produce microchips. Founded in 1984 in the Netherlands with just a handful of employees, we’ve now grown to over 40,000 employees, 143 nationalities and more than 60 locations around the world.

What do we do?

We provide chipmakers with hardware, software and services to mass produce patterns on silicon through lithography. Our lithography systems use ultraviolet light to create billions of tiny structures on silicon that together make up a microchip. We push our technology to new limits to enable our customers to create smaller, faster and more powerful chips.

Who are our people?

While you may think that only engineers and mathematicians work at ASML, you'll be surprised to find out that our people come from a wide variety of backgrounds.
