The Long-Term Service Agreements are a cornerstone of the Baker Hughes strategy to provide amutually beneficialsuperior Customer service ensuring stable and profitable business growth.The Customer Application Engineerisa key role in theCommercialServiceorganizationbeingresponsible fordefining,preparing,and managing the technicalportionoftheLTSAsproposals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyze technical specifications from Customers,definingand preparing theserviceScope of Work, ensuringaccuratecost control, and managing technical risks.

  • Estimate OPEX costs forexisting andnew technologies, collaborate withcommercial and salesteams tooptimizeproposals, and support negotiations with customers on technical aspects.

  • Work closelywith theregionalcommercialteam as a key partner inthe strategydevelopment to createthe most competitiveandwinningproposal

Fuel your passion

To be successfull in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degreein technical field from an accredited college or university

  • 0-4years ofindustry experience in a role as Project Engineer, Design Engineer,ApplicationEngineeror Project Manager

  • Fluent spoken and written English

  • Traveling with short notice

Desired:

  • Master’s degree in engineeringwith focus onturbo-machineryfrom an accredited college oruniversity

  • Specific O&Gmarketknowledge and experience is strongly recommended

  • Goodknowledgeofrotating machineries, particularlyofGas Turbines

  • Ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize and manage time

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Willing to work in a team

  • Able to effectively communicate with peers and supervisors

  • Able to work autonomously, takes lead in developing complex solutions, under pressure and withtightdeadlines

  • GB/BB certified
