CC&A Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Principle Duties cover Pain Service & Preassessment & TheatreFiling, pulling charts, transfer of charts from the main building (anaesthetic office to BPC (Pre assessment Service & Medical Records), Sitting outpatient clinics, answering telephone queries, data entry, opening post, stamping post, filing post. Theatre reception duties include chart retrieval, filing, and photocopying, laminating and stock control. Pain Service sitting outpatient clinics for Beaumont & OMNI.
1. Transfer of Charts within the Department on a daily basis BPC, Theatre Outpatient & Medical Records2. Tracking of Charts between different areas3. Distributing Charts on a Daily Basis to the relevant Preassessment Nurses4. Clinic Preparation, pull, prepares and sits Nurse Led clinics located in Beaumont Hospital. Provide cross-cover within CCAD Directorate as and when directed by Directorate Support Supervisor and/or Manager5. Create Preassessment PACS6. Printing of labels wristbands and Preassessment Booklet7. Locating Missing Charts for Clinics8. Provide cross-cover within CCAD Directorate as and when directed by Directorate Support Supervisor and/or Manager.9. Provide reception/clerical support dealing with queries and following through on requests for both Nurse Led & Consultant Led clinics 10. Office etiquette: Be punctual, pay attention, be mindful, courteous and communicate with professionalism at all times. Maintain good office procedures, sort and distribute post, order and maintain appropriate stationary level in the office. Assist in the overall smooth running of the office. Handle all external & internal telephone enquiries professionally.11. Support a departmental email service, on a continuous basis. 12. Support a departmental phone and voicemail service. 13. Colleting and stamping postal referrals to be delivered to Theatre for Triage14. These are some of the IT systems you will be required to use, T-Pro, McKesson, IPMS, ORBIS, Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook, Envoy, Staff Intranet, BORIS, CLOCKWISE, Theatre system. 15. Any other ad hoc duties requested by Management Team.

Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc(a)Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition:(i) Obtained at least grade D (or pass) in Higher or Ordinary level in five subjects from the approved list of subjects in the Department of Education established Leaving Certificate Examination or Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme or Leaving Certificate Applied. Or(ii) Passed an examination of at least equivalent standardOr(iii) Satisfactory relevant experience which encompasses demonstrable equivalent skillsAnd(b) Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability and administrative ability for the discharge of the office.
Desirable:
