CryoPDP Branch Manager (US-N)
The Branch Manager owns the operational, financial, and compliance performance of a CRYOPDP US facility handling temperature-controlled pharmaceutical and life science shipments. This includes P&L management, GDP/TSA compliance, cold chain infrastructure oversight, team leadership, and client relationship management at the branch level. The Branch Manager ensures the facility is audit-ready at all times and drives operational excellence in alignment with company standards and DHL integration requirements.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the local branch.
? Provide support and guidance to the logistics team within the local branch.
? Provide hands-on assistance and support to the local team during peak periods and critical shipments.
? Oversee and streamline cold chain logistics operations to ensure efficient, timely delivery of services.
? Drive initiatives to boost operational efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate service quality.
? Ensure adherence to industry regulations, maintain equipment to meet quality standards, and implement quality processes to safeguard the integrity of the cold chain.
? Act as a key point of contact for the Branch
? Review, analyze, and present cost savings initiatives to the management team
? Make recommendations in the development of long-term strategies
? Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
? Train and mentor the station staff, instilling a culture of operational excellence aligned with our company’s policy and operations standards.
? Provide leadership for problem resolution that will facilitate continuous improvements.
? Identify opportunities and risks within the business that may impact the business environment
? Bring any HR-related issues and problems to the HR manager’s attention without delay.
? Take full ownership of the branch P&L, ensuring effective budgeting, financial management, and the achievement of revenue and profitability targets as set by the company.
? Manage all queries and complaints that are investigated and responded to promptly, both from external, and internal customers and suppliers
? Guarantee efficient response to customer issues & complaints.
? Showcase unique service features of CRYOPDP to increase value solutions to customers
? Increase dependency for customers to ensure CRYOPDP is the sole provider they use across all modes
? Maintain facility GDP compliance: ensure all SOPs are current, temperature mapping is valid, equipment calibration schedules are met, and documentation is audit-ready for client, regulatory, and ISO inspections.
? Own branch P&L with specific attention to cold chain cost drivers: packaging inventory, LN2 consumption (EWR/LAX), dry ice sourcing, and vendor cost management.
? Manage DHL Express integration activities at branch level, including service transition execution and operational coordination with DHL contacts.
? Consume and act on Looker Studio operational dashboards: identify trends in branch performance, escalation frequency, and billing accuracy.
? Lead quarterly facility audits covering GDP compliance, equipment condition, cold chain readiness, and warehouse organization.
? Ensure forklift certification and safety training is current for all applicable staff.
? Coordinate with the CRYOPDP Philippines support team on task handoffs, billing reconciliation, and pricing support across US and Philippine business hours
Must be available at all times and shifts to respond to emergencies as a first responder. Standard shift is Monday to Friday, but due to the nature of our 24/7 operation you will be required to assist with occasional out of hours.
? GDP compliance management including facility qualification, temperature mapping oversight, and internal audit execution.
? Experience with ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems.
? Understanding of TSA/IACSSP security requirements for freight forwarding facilities.
? P&L management experience with ability to interpret financial reports and manage branch budgets.
? Proficiency in CargoWise reporting and Google Workspace.
? Ability to consume and interpret Looker Studio dashboards for operational decision-making.
? Awareness of DHL Express domestic and international service offerings.
? Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
