Lakeland Joint School District is seeking applications for a Crossing Guard at Lakeland Middle School for the 2026�2027 school year.
- Schedule:
- 2 hours per day
- 7:00�8:00 a.m.
- 1:45�2:45 p.m.
- Monday�Friday during the school year
- Pay Range:
- $15.10�$17.12 per hour, DOE
Job Requirement:
- Maintain continuous visual and/or auditory awareness of pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
- Identify approaching vehicles and changing traffic conditions.
- Promptly communicate directions, warnings, and instructions to students and drivers.
- Stop or redirect pedestrian traffic when necessary to prevent unsafe crossing.
- Respond immediately to unexpected traffic, pedestrian, or emergency situations.
- Remain attentive and positioned at the assigned crossing for the duration of the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
