About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious, commercially minded and entrepreneurial professional to join our growing Luxury Retail team in Italy.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to play a visible role at the intersection of luxury retail, real estate and international business development, working with some of the world’s most prestigious fashion, jewellery, beauty and lifestyle brands.

The role is designed for a professional who combines market credibility, relationship strength and commercial instinct, and who is motivated by the opportunity to shape client strategies, unlock new business and contribute to high-profile cross-border assignments across Italy and Europe.

You will work closely with luxury occupiers, landlords and investors, advising on market entry, expansion, relocation and prime high street opportunities, while leveraging Cushman & Wakefield’s international platform, local market knowledge and integrated service offering.

For the right person, this role offers not only strong exposure to iconic retail destinations and international clients, but also the chance to build visibility, deepen market influence and contribute directly to the growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Advisory

• Build and develop long-term relationships with luxury brands, retailers, landlords and investors
• Identify and originate new business opportunities within the luxury retail sector
• Support international brands entering the Italian market and Italian brands pursuing international expansion
• Advise clients on market entry, expansion and relocation strategies

Luxury Retail Leasing & Transactions

• Manage leasing and acquisition mandates for premium and luxury occupiers
• Lead negotiations between landlords and retailers to deliver successful transactions
• Identify suitable locations in prime high street destinations and luxury retail clusters
• Coordinate all phases of leasing assignments from opportunity sourcing through transaction completion

Market Intelligence & Strategic Consulting

• Monitor luxury retail market trends, consumer behaviour and retailer expansion plans
• Prepare market studies, pitch materials and client presentations
• Provide insights on rental values, key locations, tenant mix and emerging retail destinations
• Support occupiers and investors with strategic recommendations based on market analysis

Cross-Border Collaboration

• Work closely with international colleagues across Europe and EMEA
• Contribute to cross-border assignments and international client relationships
• Promote Italian opportunities within Cushman & Wakefield’s global retail network
• Participate in industry events, conferences and networking initiatives

Relationship Management

• Maintain strong relationships with luxury retail decision makers and asset owners
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients through a consultative, solution-oriented approach
• Collaborate with Capital Markets, Asset Services and Valuation teams to create integrated client solutions

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in luxury retail, leasing, high street agency, retail asset management or a related commercial environment
• Existing network within luxury brands, premium retailers, landlords or investors
• Proven ability to develop commercial relationships and originate business opportunities
• Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships and negotiations

Skills

• Strong commercial mindset and entrepreneurial attitude
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Analytical capability combined with business acumen
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Fluent Italian and English
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Compensation and Transparency

We believe in an open and transparent approach to compensation. For this role, the base salary range is between €72,000 and €85,000 gross per annum (RAL). Positioning within the range will depend on experience, skills, and the expected impact in the role. Candidates at an early stage in their career are typically positioned towards the lower end of the range, while candidates with significant experience and the ability to deliver immediate impact may be positioned towards the upper end. We also offer a comprehensive compensation package which, in addition to benefits, may include discretionary performance-based bonuses in line with company policies. Our compensation decisions are based on clear, objective criteria, aligned with market benchmarks and internal equity.
