Job Description
The Field Marketing Manager (FMM) serves as the regional extension of the Crop Protection Marketing organization. This role translates national portfolio and channel strategies into actionable regional and local marketing plans while providing critical market insight, launch execution leadership, business planning support, and field-to-marketing connectivity.
The FMM acts as a strategic partner to sales leaders, territory managers, account managers, and portfolio marketing teams by identifying market opportunities, influencing business outcomes, and ensuring that customer, retailer, and field perspectives are represented in marketing decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Field Execution of Marketing Strategy
- Localize and activate national marketing strategies across assigned districts and territories.
- Lead regional execution planning aligned with portfolio objectives and business priorities.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and market penetration.
- Provide feedback to Portfolio Marketing Leaders regarding market needs, customer insights, and competitive dynamics.
Regional & Local Marketing Plan Development
- Develop and deploy regional and district marketing plans aligned to business goals and customer segmentation strategies.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives, promotional activities, and resource investments to maximize business impact.
- Establish measurable objectives, KPIs, and execution plans for local marketing activities.
Retail Business Planning & Classification Support
- Support district teams through retailer business planning processes.
- Connect district and territory plans with retailer growth objectives and classification priorities.
- Guide and direct sales teams through local resource allocation decisions.
- Align marketing investments with retailer classification and business planning processes.
Market Insights & Business Opportunity Identification
- Gather and communicate customer, retailer, marketplace, and competitive insights.
- Identify emerging opportunities, risks, and trends that impact business performance.
- Develop business cases and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Serve as the voice of the field within marketing discussions and planning processes.
Product Launch Support
- Develop and implement regional launch plans that align with national launch strategies.
- Coordinate launch readiness activities, stakeholder engagement, and execution tracking.
- Ensure successful market adoption through localized messaging, training, and activation plans.
Program Deployment & Support
- Lead communication, training, and adoption of marketing programs within assigned geographies.
- Monitor program performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Serve as a local resource for marketing program implementation and accountability.
- Support stewardship of approved marketing claims and program guidelines.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Build strong partnerships across Marketing, Sales, Account Management, MarComm, Business Insights, Customer Service, and Seed organizations.
- Facilitate collaboration between field and marketing teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
- Influence stakeholders without direct authority to drive business priorities and strategic outcomes.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Experience in agricultural sales, marketing, account management, or business development.
- Strong understanding of crop production systems, retailer channels, and agricultural markets.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, strategic planning, and influencing skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred
- 5+ years of experience in agricultural product launches, marketing strategy, or retailer business planning.
- Strong analytical and business insight capabilities.
- Demonstrated success influencing outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
This is a virtual office role. Incumbents will be expected to live in the covered area. Corteva will provide a company vehicle as travel is expected within the covered area.

This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
