
Details of the Division and Team
The Risk division has a fundamental responsibility to protect the Bank. With group-wide responsibility for the management and control of credit, market, operational and reputational risks, we have a unique vantage point which allows us a holistic view of our businesses and our clients. In order to succeed in this environment, it requires a truly integrated approach to capital and risk management, a model embodied by the Chief Risk Office and the Bank. This industry-leading platform is based on consolidated management of capital, funding and liquidity, comprehensive stress testing, and robust monitoring standards.
Your key responsibilities and required skills
The Global Credit Analytics Function (GCAF) forms an integral part of the Risk division. As intern in this team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of counterparty portfolios at an international level. This is a highly dynamic environment in which you will be able to enjoy the cut and thrust of business, and be able to contribute your analytical skills. You will observe market developments, identify risks and their driving forces, calculate potential risk exposure and set risk appetites and formulate solutions to mitigate the financial and non-financial risks the bank faces.
Study either business administration, finance, economics, law or business law (or a related study focus) etc.
Be passionate about economics, finance and banking, ideally underpinned by skills in accounting and financial statement analysis
Be proficient in MS Office and other common applications
Has strong communication skills and be fluent (both written and spoken) in English
Can work well in a team and inspire others with your ideas
Commitment to a 6-month on-site internship is required
