Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is a nationally recognized academic health system, and our Winston Salem Campus is a level 1 trauma center. While working in the Outpatient Anesthesia Department, you will expand your skillset by working on a wide variety of cases, including but not limited to: Orthopedic, Vascular, Burns, Cardiothoracic (specific team), Neurology, ENT, General/Abdominal, Robotic, Gynecology. Other cases you may experience, outside of the day-to-day, include: EP, IR, MRI, Burn Tank, Brachytherapy, and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE).
We also have a new freestanding surgery center that was completed in 2025. You'll be working in this state-of-the-art facility.
As a valued member of our healthcare team, the CRNA will play a key role in team-focused patient care, providing anesthesia using safe and quality techniques during Inpatient Procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The clinician functions under the regulatory mandate from their respective licensing organization (North Carolina Medical Board or North Carolina Board of Nursing) with departmental specific credentialing from the institution.
