Location: We welcome applications from those looking for hybrid working, based 2 days per week in our Handforth (Cheshire) Office

About the role

We’re looking for a CRM Technical Build Executive to join our CRM and Marketing team. This is a hands-on technical delivery role, focused on building high-quality, mobile-first CRM communications that deliver a consistent and engaging customer experience at scale.

Reporting to the Technical CRM Manager, you will bring campaigns to life through best-in-class build, testing and QA. You will take ownership of build quality, ensuring communications are delivered accurately, efficiently and to a high standard across all major email clients and devices.

You will also play a key role in improving how we build and deliver CRM campaigns, contributing to reusable templates, scalable components and clear technical processes that support consistency and efficiency.

What you’ll be doing

  • Building, testing and deploying CRM communications to agreed timelines and quality standards
  • Owning the QA process, ensuring consistent rendering across major email clients, devices and dark mode
  • Proactively identifying risks and resolving build issues quickly and effectively
  • Contributing to reusable templates and modular components within a governed framework
  • Supporting and improving accessibility, dark mode optimisation and performance standards
  • Supporting dynamic and personalised content using CRM platforms and third-party tools
  • Assisting in the delivery of test-and-learn activity to improve campaign performance
  • Following and improving build, proof and release processes to increase consistency and efficiency
  • Using QA tools and maintaining clear documentation to support collaboration and onboarding
  • Working closely with internal teams, agencies and platform partners to deliver campaigns at pace

What we’re looking for

  • Strong HTML and CSS skills for responsive email development
  • Experience building and testing emails across multiple clients and devices
  • A strong sense of ownership for quality, with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple requests, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of accessibility and email development best practices
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and resolve issues independently
  • Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platforms
  • Exposure to AMPscript or dynamic content tools such as Movable Ink
  • Familiarity with QA tools such as Litmus or Validity
  • Understanding of personalisation, testing approaches and test-and-learn methods
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

What’s in it for you

  • The opportunity to develop your skills in CRM, email development and marketing technology
  • Hands-on experience with modern QA, personalisation and MarTech tools
  • A supportive team environment with opportunities to learn and grow
  • The chance to contribute to high-impact customer communications at scale
  • The opportunity to shape and improve how CRM campaigns are built and delivered
