Job Description

The KILLSTAR brand-universe is an invitation for people to explore, discover, and become who they are. We help affirm this invitation by creating an inclusive, supportive environment where our team members are embraced exactly as they are.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about customer relationship management and email marketing, with a keen eagerness to contribute to a dynamic and talented marketing team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organised, and eager to grow within a fast-paced, creative environment.

In this role, you will work closely with the CRM Manager while collaborating with the Design, E-commerce, Merchandising and Social teams to support the execution of our CRM and loyalty campaigns based at our Brighton HQ.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Oversee campaign execution Get hands-on with our CRM platforms to segment, build, and schedule manual campaigns across all markets, ensuring accurate localisation and alignment with the trading calendar.

  • Coordinate creative briefs: Generate fresh, on-brand concepts and write compelling copy for emails, subject lines, SMS, and push notifications. Brief the design team, provide feedback on assets to ensure visual and commercial alignment, action stakeholder feedback, and proactively manage asset delivery to keep campaigns on track.

  • Align content with commercial goals: Collaborate with the Merchandising, E-comm, Design and Social teams to match our CRM campaigns with current trading priorities and product focuses, ensuring all content drives measurable commercial results and brand consistency.

  • Own the QA process: Diligently review your campaigns from start to finish – catching typos, testing links, checking products are in stock, and reviewing both desktop and mobile layouts, as well as the final landing pages, to guarantee a smooth customer journey.

  • Execute A/B testing: Implement structured testing plans (e.g., subject lines, layout, send times) and track findings to continuously improve CRM performance and share with wider teams.

  • Monitor campaign performance: Track key metrics and build CRM reports to guide future decisions on email templates, subject lines, SMS copy, and overall content.

  • Technical troubleshooting: Identify and resolve platform or campaign issues, escalating to the CRM Manager or liaising with platform support and Customer Success teams as required.

  • Support CRM automations: Assist the CRM Manager in planning and briefing content for automated lifecycles and flows, ensuring our triggered journeys stay up-to-date, visually fresh and aligned with brand standards.

  • Maintain compliance: Ensure all outbound communications strictly adhere to digital marketing industry standards and data privacy policies.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Organised: You can orchestrate multiple activities at once to hit fast-moving deadlines, managing your time effectively without letting tasks drop

  • Creative: You have a strong eye for copy and design and a talent for building cohesive on-brand content. You can easily take a vague concept like ‘Summer Nights Out’ and transform it into an engaging visual campaign for the KILLSTAR audience.

  • Detail-oriented: You check your work diligently to catch and fix mistakes early, ensuring campaigns are fully QA'd before reaching management for sign-off.

  • Commercially-minded: You look far beyond "pretty pictures." You’re all about ensuring we select the right products, test subject lines, and optimise templates specifically to drive results.

  • Communicative: You have clear, concise communication skills. You are proactive about keeping people updated when things change or deadlines are at risk, and you aren’t afraid to collaborate with wider teams to flag errors and protect channel standards.

  • Adaptable: You are open to feedback and ready to evolve your ideas. Whether a campaign needs adjusting based on performance data or a sudden shift in trading priorities, you can easily adapt your approach to keep things moving forward.

  • Trend-aware: You actively follow competitors, stay on top of industry trends, and bring fresh ideas to the table based on what is working well in the wider market.

YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a hands-on digital marketing or e-commerce role.

  • A creative background with foundational skills or experience in design or copywriting.
