We have an exciting opportunity for a BIM Manager to join our growing team in Warsaw, leading BIM on prestigious data centre projects around the Europe and internationally.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented BIM manager to join our team at our office in Warsaw to produce & coordinate BIM Models & Drawings for RIBA Stages 2-4 MEP Design for a wide range of exciting local & international building projects.

As part of our established team of expert Engineers, Technicians & BIM Managers, and working closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will develop coordinated BIM Models & Drawings following Cundall’s Templates & Design Standards, additionally you will have opportunities to use a variety of other digital engineering tools and software to support the design & coordination processes.

You will also manage Models from set up, View & Sheet creation through to final issue with incorporated asset data, you will input COBie, IFC, Uniclass into Models as and when required as per the Project BIM Execution Plan and Exchange Information Requirements. Where models are produced by engineers you will review the models running clash detection and providing reports to engineers to aid coordination.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to our Automation Developments for Revit & BIM by submitting Ideas to our in-house Digital Team to be developed and incorporated into our standard ways of working, helping to drive forward Cundall’s Automation and improving business efficiency.

You will also write and review project BIM Execution Plans, to detail the responsibilities, processes and deliverables of the design team through the project lifecycle.

The Skills

You will have a background in Building Services and have experience with Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health Disciplines, educated ideally to HNC Level or higher within the subject, you will have gained strong practical experience of BIM and using Revit in a similar role within the industry working either at Consultancy’s and/or Specialist MEP Contractors.

You will have an understanding of how to utilise Autodesk Forma alongside Revit for model management and clash detection, you will also have an understanding of how to use Navisworks for Clash Detection for MEP Services against various other disciplines and trades.

You will be able to work to Cundall Standards and Templates and be able to produce models and drawings independently and from mark-ups as and when required (Sketches and Bluebeam PDF’s). You will also be able to produce MEP Services Models & Drawings that are coordinated and fit within the constraints of the building layout on various projects.

You will have an understanding of the RIBA plan of works and BSRIA BG6 and the various stages included in these as well as the Level of Detail needed for each stage, you will also have an appreciation of the key processes of ISO 19650.

You will be adept at planning and organising your workload alongside other BIM Managers and communicating effectively with Engineers, Technicians and BIM Leads. You will have proven experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines, and share Cundall’s passion for creative, sustainable and intuitive design.

You will need to communicate in Polish and English language.
