JOB SUMMARY                                                                         
This position will drive brand awareness regionally for our Critical Power Division. They will assist the sales teams by developing and implementing strategic marketing/business development plans to increase the company’s profit and working alongside the Critical Power Specialists to hit these sales goals. Market Development Managers will also conduct research on the competition and supply to determine market trends and product worth. This helps develop reasonable product pricing that fits within the customer budgets and brings higher profits.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while collaborating with them to better understand their business objectives and needs
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets
- Create and communicate sales goals and ensure executives are informed
- Research to understand industry-specific trends and landscapes
- Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals
- Report on forces that shift strategic direction of accounts and tactical budgets

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field a plus
- Technical education in Automotive, Diesel, Construction or related field a plus
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Solid understanding of basic generator and electrical distribution principles
- Strong attention to details and diligent follow-through
- Solid working proficiencies with Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Explorer, Power Point, etc.)
- Ability to understand, embrace and implement new technologies as they evolve
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive working environment
WORK CONDITIONS 
Physical Demands/Work Environment:  
This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs.  It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.  This list is not meant to cover every possible scenario but simply provides an outline.  Employees may be assigned other tasks as needed.
