Are you a trauma-informed clinician with a passion for making a real difference in crisis situations? TELUS Health is looking for a Critical Incident Management Clinician to join our Australia team and deliver critical psychological support when it matters most.

In this role, you'll be at the frontlines of crisis response—providing immediate, compassionate psychological support to individuals and organizations affected by traumatic events. Whether it's a workplace incident, natural disaster, or sudden loss, you'll deliver evidence-based interventions that help people stabilize, process, and recover. You'll work across diverse sectors, combining onsite presence with virtual capabilities to ensure no one faces crisis alone.

You'll conduct rapid risk assessments, facilitate group interventions, liaise with organizational stakeholders, and maintain the clinical excellence that saves lives.

Who You Are

  • You bring minimum 3 of post qualification experience

  • Experience in crisis management and trauma response.

  • You have full registration with AHPRA or AASW.

  • You've mastered critical incident stress management and psychological first aid, and you're confident conducting risk assessments in high-pressure situations.

  • Commits to excellence — You engage in ongoing supervision, training, and professional development

What You'll Do

  • Provide onsite and virtual critical incident response services following workplace incidents, accidents, disasters, violence, or sudden loss

  • Deliver psychological first aid, defusing, and debriefings using trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches

  • Conduct clinical risk assessments and escalate concerns according to protocol

  • Facilitate individual counselling and group psychoeducation sessions

  • Coordinate with employers, EAP stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure comprehensive support

  • Prepare professional clinical documentation and post-incident reports

  • Participate in post-incident follow-up and ongoing support
