Position Overview
Critical Facilities Engineer (Mechanical / HVAC Focus): Performs day-to-day operations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across base building and critical infrastructure. This position focuses on maintaining high-reliability mechanical, chilled water, and environmental control systems to ensure continuous facility uptime and zero unscheduled downtime. The candidate must possess a strong background in operating complex cooling environments, analyzing system performance, and responding swiftly to operational and emergency situations in critical environments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Critical Operations & System Maintenance
Position Focus: Mechanical/HVAC ● Troubleshoot mechanical systems, AHUs, RTUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAHs, CRACs, Chillers, Cooling Towers, pumps, motors,sensors, transmitters, actuators, relays, controllers, and field devices. ● Make approved adjustments to system setpoints, schedules, sequences of operation, and control parameters to maintain proper equipment operation and occupant comfort. ● Review and interpret control drawings, mechanical plans, electrical diagrams, sequences of operation, and system schematics. ● Perform preventative maintenance and functional testing of mechanical systems.
