What you’ll do

The role responsibilities include:

·Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and mechanical systems supporting critical facility operations.

·Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment including chillers, cooling towers, CRAH units, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, valves, and chilled water systems.

·Monitor system performance through BMS and CMMS platforms and support optimal environmental conditions across the facility.

·Conduct routine inspections, identify equipment issues, and escalate abnormal operating conditions as required.

·Support incident response activities, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.

·Assist with commissioning, upgrades, maintenance planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

·Work collaboratively with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure facility reliability and uptime.

·Promote a strong safety culture and compliance with site procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

What you’ll have

·Diploma in Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related discipline.

·Trade certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or similar qualification.

·Experience maintaining and troubleshooting HVAC and cooling systems within industrial, critical infrastructure, or mission-critical environments.

·Knowledge of chillers, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC systems, pumps, valves, chilled water systems, and HVAC controls.

·Familiarity with BMS, DDC, CMMS, and facility monitoring systems.

·Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a time-sensitive environment.

·Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

·Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

·Experience supporting Data Centers or other mission-critical facilities.

·Knowledge of HVAC optimization, environmental controls, and energy efficiency practices.

·Experience working with SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs in critical operating environments.

·Data Center or critical facilities certifications.
