Job Description

Title: Critical Care Paramedic

Location: Must be available to work out of any of our station locations in Wisconsin: Madison, Sun Prairie, Middleton, Lake Mills, Janesville, Deerfield, and Fort Atkinson

Paramedic: $27.50 - $31.63 per hour

Critical Care Paramedic: $28.75 - $33.06 per hour

Paramedic (Premium Day Shifts): $30 - $3413 per hour

Critical Care Paramedic (Premium Day Shifts): $32 - $3631 per hour

Employment Types: Full Time and Part Time

Shifts Available: 24’s, 12’s and 10’s
Full-Time Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision (with company contribution), Paid Time Off (PTO), 401K, and Weekly Pay.

Paramedic Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with your fellowemployees toensure top tier patient care.

  • Be flexible as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock - your work schedule may vary due to the nature of the business.

  • Remain up to date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses and all certifications, licenses and registrations as a Paramedic.

  • Conduct yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner when dealing with patients, co-workers, supervisors, and the public.

  • Recognize and treat any medical condition with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all state and city protocols.

  • Provide top tier medical transport to medical facilities and hospitals by assuming responsibilities for medical care of the patient and carrying out established policies and procedures as a Paramedic

  • Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and taking ownership of your space.

  • Gather patient billing information and appropriate billing signatures.

  • Prepare and submit a pre-hospital patient care report.

  • Respond promptly to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center.

  • Must be able to lift, push and pull 125 lbs or more.

  • Other tasks as assigned

Paramedic Requirements:

  • WI Paramedic License

  • To be a Critical Care Paramedic, you must have your Critical Care Endorsement

  • Driver's License (minimum of 2 years) and an acceptable driving record

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) with American Heart Association

  • ACLS (Basic Life Support) with American Heart Association

  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • Tech-savvy or comfortable with using technology

  • Able to work on a team

  • Respectful of colleagues, patients, and leadership

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull at least 125 lbs

  • Successfully complete Physical Aptitude Test
