ABOUT THE POSITION: Crisis Therapist
Team Structure & Work Environment
As a Crisis Therapist on our multidisciplinary, fast-paced mobile crisis team, you will play a critical frontline role in providing immediate, high-quality crisis support to youth and families in the community. You will work independently and alongside other Master’s-level therapists to conduct mobile assessments, deliver crisis interventions, and ensure thoughtful follow-up and linkage to ongoing services.
In your role, you will actively collaborate with a wide range of partners, including schools, hospitals, DCF, law enforcement, and community providers, while also engaging with our internal quality and training systems to maintain strong clinical standards
You can expect a dynamic position that balances direct clinical work with opportunities for growth and leadership within the team. This includes participating in crisis consultations, engaging in ongoing coaching and professional development, and contributing to the overall delivery of high-quality, responsive crisis services.
Duties & Responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Master’s Degree or higher in related field.
Experience: Experience working with trauma, mental illness and/or serious emotional disorders and/or substance use disorders preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration LMSW, LPC-A, LMFT-A required. LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Licensed Psychologist preferred. LADC may be substituted for LCSW, LMFT, LPC or Licensed Psychologist in some programs. Other training may be required based on program. Valid Driver’s License for programs where transportation is required.
