Job Description

As the Crisis Response Mental Health RN, you will provide immediate clinical support to individuals experiencing mental health crises in workplace settings. You'll deliver brief therapeutic interventions, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate referrals to ensure safe and effective continuity of care.

Day to Day!

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health and risk assessments, providing crisis intervention, de-escalation, and brief therapeutic support.
  • Deliver onsite crisis response and emotional stabilisation for individuals experiencing acute psychological distress.
  • Coordinate referrals and continuity of care with counselling services and external providers to ensure safe client outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in case reviews, and contribute to best practice clinical care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and provide support across the Carlton office and deployed client worksites as required.

Lets talk about you!

You're a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration, at least two years' mental health experience, and demonstrated skills in crisis intervention, mental health assessment, and risk management. You have strong communication and de-escalation skills, can work independently in fast-paced environments, and hold a current Australian driver's licence. A postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing, crisis intervention or suicide prevention training, and experience in community, workplace, or outreach mental health are highly regarded.
