Salary: $25.45/hour

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for assisting the Criminal Records Lead Supervisor/ Manager with supervising the specialists.

  • Duties include initiating and processing inmate financial accounts; reconciling bank accounts; auditing shift banking transactions; taking inventories of inmates' property; and maintaining accounting files, bank account signature cards and money documents.

  • Trains new records staff in accounting and other processes; performs the duties of other unit positions during absences; and provides information regarding inmates on a need-to-know basis.

  • Distributes work assignments and monitors work performance; serving on-call 24 hours to answer questions or respond when the need arises; and is responsible for State of Missouri inmate reimbursements as authorized by state statutes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university – or – High School Diploma or equivalent and four years of supervisory experience in an institutional setting in lieu of degree.

  • Must obtain REJIS and MULES certifications following employment.

  • Must be at least 21 years old.

  • Must possess/maintain an active telephone and be available to work weekends and evenings.

  • Must submit to and pass a police background check and drug screen.
