The assistant will predominantly assist the lead lawyer dealing with inquest work often from the day of the incident, investigating the incident circumstances and assisting with the case through to resolution.
The Crime & Regulatory Lead Handler's role primarily involves handling health sector inquests, with a particular focus on matters concerning private residential and nursing care homes, together with inquests where mental health issues are a significant feature.
This is a technical and client-facing role for a well-rounded lawyer, so you will have a keen interest in building client relationships through the delivery of training and mentoring as well as in delivering first class legal solutions to complex problems.
A qualified Solicitor or a minimum of 2 years regulatory, mental health hospital or care/nursing home inquest experience.
