Job Location: SHAWNEE, OK 74804SCOPE:
Maintain stores crib and satellite inventories. Ensure accurate cost allocation. Disburse and receive MRO and non-stock items.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
- Receive items for the Plant. All orders are to be checked for accuracy (quantity, quality, account code, price, misc.)
- Crib items are to be received into the MRO inventory system and stores in their proper location.
- Non-stock items are to be received and the requisitioner notified.
- Machined parts that require inspection are to be logged and sent to the appropriate department for inspection.
- Items not passing inspection will be identified as such and returned to the vendor.
- Disburse crib items to requisitioner. Verify and complete information on the disbursement card.
- Enter data into the MRO inventory system. Check transactions entered into the system daily for accuracy and make corrections.
- Spot check inventory when possible and make necessary adjustments.
- Take weekly inventories of items stores outside the crib and those items are identified as critical. Make the proper disbursement or adjustment to maintain these inventories. All other items must be inventoried based on the Physical Inventory Schedule. The schedule permits a one-year cycle count.
- MRO maintenance - Setup additional items as requested. Verify and complete information to enter items into the MRO system and create storage location.
- Make required changes to existing crib items such as min / max point, subcategory codes, etc.
- Submit and file proper forms to remove obsolete items from the system.
- Problem solving - Investigate unusual disbursements or adjustments (high value or volume and as requested)
- Suggest and implement corrective actions to prevent inventory variences.
- Housekeeping / Safety - Keep assigned machinery and work area neat, clean, and orderly. Follow all safety and shop rules.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
SPECIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires computer skills in Excel and JDEdwards. Must have a minimal 10-key skill of 150 kmp and a minimal keyboarding skill of 30-40 wpm.
Good knowledge of crib inventory is preferred. As well as experience in the "Parts" environment.
Must have above average attendance.
