This role will be responsible for developing and managing a sustainable pipeline of qualified seafarers to support fleet operations. The role leads end-to-end crewing recruitment, builds strong relationships with manning agencies and maritime institutions, and ensures all crew deployment complies with international maritime regulations and operational requirements
Responsibilities
1. Crewing Recruitment & Talent Pipeline
- Lead recruitment of seafarers for fleet operations
- Build and maintain a sustainable crew talent pool and seafarer database
- Source crew through industry networks, maritime academies, and manning agencies
- Ensure ontime recruitment to avoid vessel delay or crewing shortage
2. Crew Deployment & Manning Coordination
- Coordinate with Crewing Placement / Operational for crew mobilization and deployment according to vessel schedules
- Maintain crew availability for urgent replacement or additional fleet needs
3. Agency & Industry Network Management
- Develop and manage relationships with manning agencies and crew suppliers
- Leverage professional networks to secure reliable crew sourcing channel
4. Compliance & Certification
- Ensure all crew meet regulatory requirements including STCW and Maritime Labour Convention (MLC 2006)
5. Process Improvement & Reporting
- Improve recruitment processes and crewing database management
6. Collaboration with Operations
- Work closely with Ship Management, Marine Operations, and Technical teams to identify crewing needs
- Support manpower planning aligned with fleet expansion and operational requirements
