The City of Greensboro Water Resources Department is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Crew Member (Truck Driver) to transport materials, equipment, and safety resources to job sites throughout the City. This hands-on position plays an essential role in supporting field crews by keeping projects supplied, moving heavy equipment between locations, and helping ensure work sites are prepared and operated safely.

The Water Resources Department provides essential water and wastewater services that protect public health, support the community, and maintain Greensboro’s critical infrastructure. Field crews rely on skilled team members like our Truck Drivers to keep materials, equipment, and resources moving efficiently from one job site to the next.
Estimated Hiring Salary Range: $41,600.00 - $43,922.00 Full Salary Range: $42,233.00 - $59,734.00 Annually

Bring your driving skills, equipment knowledge, and commitment to safety to the Water Resources team. Help keep Greensboro’s essential infrastructure projects moving by getting the right materials, equipment, and resources where they’re needed—safely and efficiently.
This job is Non-Exempt and is subject to the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
