Production Crew Member – Asphalt | Rosehill NSW

Full-time opportunity | Day & Night Shift flexibility

Join our Rosehill team as a full-time Production Crew Member and play a key role in the safe and efficient manufacture of asphalt. This role is ideal for someone with asphalt manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a safety-first mindset

About the Role

Based at our Rosehill asphalt plant, you’ll be a vital member of the production crew, responsible for operating and maintaining mobile plant equipment while ensuring all safety, quality, and production standards are met.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Operating mobile equipment to support asphalt production
  • Assisting with plant operations and general production tasks
  • Performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality procedures
  • Working collaboratively as part of a skilled production team

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • General Construction Induction Card (White Card) – essential
  • Mechanical skills – trade background or mechanically minded experience highly regarded
  • Asphalt manufacturing experience or experience in a similar industrial environment (desirable)
  • Competency operating Front End Loaders, Skid Steers, and Forklifts
  • A strong, positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
  • Flexibility to work day and night shifts as required
  • A genuine commitment to Downer’s Zero Harm safety culture
