The Opportunity

We are proud to partner with our client SA Water on a multi-year Water Main Relay contract, with work secured for the next 6+ years. This contract will involve the installation of new water pipeline infrastructure across metropolitan Adelaide.

As a result, we are looking for a Crew Leader / Leading Hand to join our team. Supported by our experienced and highly skilled Supervisors, you will be responsible for leading a small team of field crews. The work is interesting, varied and involves the management of state of the art equipment in pipeline renewal. We offer a rewarding remuneration package including regular overtime, travel and accommodation allowances.

Your background may be from one of the following:

  • Civil construction experience
  • Water infrastructure
  • Or you might be looking to learn something new - If you have worked as a team leader or crew leader in a different industry we would still like to hear from you!

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Valid Drivers Licence
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Ability to work on sites across Adelaide
  • OHS Construction Induction Card (White card)
  • Good work ethic and positive work attitude
  • A strong focus on safety and basic mechanical knowledge
  • HR or MR licence, Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights licences are desirable but not essential.

To make sure that you’re fully fit to join our team you will also need to pass our pre-employment medical which includes a drug & alcohol test. Please be aware that these roles will require you to enter confined spaces, successful candidates will be provided with certified confined spaces training if required.
