Job Description

Job Purpose:

Member of the BSOT Ship Management Team and responsible for the planning of the crews on board the vessels in conformity with the defined crewing and vessel policies.

Execute the implementation of the recruitment procedures, work together with recruitment agencies and ensure accurate and timely information and registration about planning and planning issues to the Operations Department.

Assist in ensuring effective day to day crew operation and crewing support based on quality for each individual vessel and seafarer.

Facilitating a good working environment and personal interaction between ship and shore.

Key Responsibilities:

· Responsible and ensuring for crew management with compliance to local regulatory with regards to the laws and regulations.

· Ensure crewing operations are in full compliance according to client requirements.

· Assist in handling crewing functions such as crew changes, crew sourcing, recruitment and retention.

· Responsible for crew planning, coordinating and execute crew change for Company's vessels.

· Executing crewing functions such as crew changes, crew sourcing, recruitment and retention.

· Responsible for ensuring joining crew have the necessary qualifications/documents prior to joining vessel.

· Responsible crew documents created, updated and uploaded in POSEIDON.

· Verification of timesheet and ensuring the submission to payroll on time.

· Prepare Crew Matrix and compile crew documents for submission to client.

· Responsible all PNI case to compile and collate the cost and documentation.

· Responsible for the application of Work Permits/Visas/ARC while ensuring legislation of crew certification are adhered.

· Responsible for all crew certification and documentation are comply with local marine department.

· Ensure the crewing functions are executed in compliance with the company IMS.

· Responsible for crew appraisal processes are being complied with IMS.

· Responsible for building up and ensuring sufficient local crew for crew change.

· Verification of crew expenses claims.

· Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly crewing report submission.

· Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

· Minimum Diploma in any field

· Minimum 2-3 years relevant crewing experience

· Proficient in Microsoft Office.

· Positive, approachable, able to work under pressure to meet payroll deadlines and meticulous

· Able to work well independently as well as in a team
