AAR constantly searches for the right thing to do for its customers, employees, partners and for society.The Worldwide Aviation Support Services (WASS) program, an AAR business, headquartered in Rockledge, FL, provides global, world-class expeditionary and conventional aviation solutions to the US Department of State Air Wing.Role Description: Participate as a non-rated crew member on approved missions flown in support of an OCONUS US Government contract as instructor for Non-Rated Crew Members Standardization. Responsible for accomplishing all required Non-Rated Crew Member, NRCM duties in accordance with policies and procedures. Perform duties under the supervision of the Pilot in Command to include but not limited to, aircraft configuration changes to support alternate missions, aircraft cargo, personnel loading and unloading operations and passenger safety briefings.Key Responsabilities: Participates in the hiring process for all non-rated crew members.Performs duties as the NRCM trainer-evaluator ensuring that all NRCM meet ATP responsibilities.Functions as the NRCM Subject Matter Expert, SME on all issues related to NRCMs.Perform non-rated crew member duties in accordance with aircrew training program requirements. Plan and perform loading and unloading activities, compute the center-of-gravity position and ensure it is always within prescribed limits. Ensure the cargo compartment is properly configured for each mission.Verify and maintain a manifest for cargo and or personnel.Supervise and participate in loading and unloading operations.Ensure cargo and passengers are properly restrained. Confirm security of cargo and passengers as necessary. Supervise passengers during routine and emergency operations.Report any malfunction, maintenance, or safety concern to the Pilot-in-Command. Perform emergency procedure actions as required by applicable directives and or the Pilot-in-Command.Perform aircraft servicing duties including fueling operations and aircraft configuration changes as required. Perform routine OCONUS travel and within CONUS travel as required, up to 90 days annually not to exceed 30 days at a time. Perform other duties as assigned.#LI-HD1

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDAviation Branch MOS 15 series, US Army or another military service or commercial equivalent.Current FAA Airframe and Power Plant, A and P Mechanics License with minimum of 5 years as a licensed A and P aircraft mechanic with experience on helicopter and associated sub systems.Current FAA Class III Medical Certificate.Documented 2 years of experience as an NRCM or NPCP Instructor.Minimum of 650 total rotary wing flight hours.Night Vision Goggle, NVG qualified with 150 hours of NVG experience.250 hours flight time, in category, within the past 5 yearsMinimum 2 years crew chief and mechanic experience on rotary wing aircraft.Active US DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain US DoD Secret clearanceAbility to travel worldwide from normal duty station on a temporary basis for periods up to 90 days and may include remote or isolated sites.Strong English speaking and written communication skills.Spanish Level L-2, R-2 required in LATAM ProgramsPreferred• Graduate of the US Army Flight Instructor Course

• 5 years of experience with S-70-H-60 series, UH-1 series aircraft.
• Qualification in both H-60 and H-1 series aircraft.
• 100 hours flight time in H-60 series aircraft within 24 months.
• Prior Experience developing and updating RW Aviation SOPs, Flight Manual, Courseware.
• Exposure to military operations.
