Job Title

Creeler IResponsibilities: include: - Hang new lot numbers on each creel. - Strip, cut back and double or spot double creels. - Air splice or tie packages of yarn together. - Cap bad tubes when necessary. - Blow back yarn when necessary. - Properly complete R.T.I. labels. - Construct boxes for yarn. - Maintain recyclable material (cardboard, plastic, paper, etc.). - General housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment. - Assist floor supervisors as needed with any additional duties. Requirements:- Must be able to walk up and down stairs. - Must be able to stand or walk for the majority of shift. - Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry loads of up to 25 pounds without assistance. - Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, grasp and reach frequently. - Must be able to work with hands/arms extended overhead. - Must be able to work in industrial environment with elevated noise levels, dust, dirt, humidity and temperature variations. - Must have a minimum reach of 78 inches - Must be able to work well under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines. - Must be able to comply with all plant policies. - Must be able to perform tasks quickly and safely. - Must be able to meet departmental work standards in the areas of hanging, splicing, and stripping.
