Job Description

As a Credit Specialist, you play a key role in safeguarding the financial health of our business. You manage credit risk with a sharp analytical eye while acting as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, particularly Sales. Operating within BMW Financial Services Belgium, you help balance commercial growth with responsible risk management in line with BMW policies and standards.

What awaits you?

• End‑to‑end responsibility for the credit acceptance process for prospective and existing B2B Fleet customers
• A central advisory role, working closely with internal departments, mainly Sales
• Acting as the main point of contact for escalations within the B2C retail credit acceptance process
• Managing financial and commercial risks in strict compliance with BMW credit policy
• Performing financial screenings of suppliers and partners and confidently defending your recommendations
• Setting credit limits and additional conditions based on sound financial analysis
• Preparing annual credit applications for Corporate customers for discussion in the BMW Financial Services Belgium Credit Committee

What should you bring along?

• A degree in economics, business administration or a related field (preferred)
• Several years of relevant experience in credit acceptance or credit risk management
• Fluency in spoken and written Dutch and English, with a good working knowledge of French
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, combined with decisiveness and assertiveness
• Excellent command of MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
• A structured, well‑organised and results‑driven working style
• An energetic and enthusiastic personality that positively inspires your environment
