ING WB Risk Transaction Advice & Control is looking for a Credit Risk Officer.

Do you want to work at the heart of Wholesale Banking Risk, where every credit decision truly matters, where you are enabling safe and sustainable growth in Wholesale Banking?

At WB Risk Transaction Advice & Control (TA&C), you are operating as an integral part of the WB Risk organisation within the Second Line of Defence, where you contribute to the execution of Wholesale Banking strategy through independent transaction advice and credit decision-making. The department: CRO/WB/Transaction Approval & Control

With dedicated teams covering sectors such as Energy, Real Estate, TMT & Healthcare, Financial Markets and Corporate Sectors, we bring a deep understanding of industries, markets and products to every decision.

This is done by dedicated risk managers (Credit officers and SCO’s) who have a thorough understanding of credit structuring, credit risk, businesses & markets, and ESG related risks within different Sector and Products. In addition to the asset-by-asset approval process, the risk managers are responsible for their dedicated portfolio monitoring and advising senior management on strategic direction in terms of risk appetite and portfolio steering.

With ~77 professionals in Amsterdam, we operate in a truly international environment, collaborating closely with teams across ING’s global TA&C network.
