You will also have the opportunity to work on projects focused on increasing efficiency and standardizing credit assessment and credit limit calculation models using internal and external data sources for the BENELUX or UK & BU Central regions.

  • Receive and review requests from Sales teams and assess the credit risk of new customers, including analyzing external credit reports and identified risks.
  • Request credit reports from external credit agencies and analyze the risks indicated in the report.
  • Provide a list of active customers to external credit agencies for regular credit data updates.
  • Monitor the credit risk of existing customers, including ad‑hoc reviews of risk categories and credit limits.
  • Analyze internal credit history, including payment behavior and any bad debt experience.
  • Collect additional information from Sales teams and open sources (e.g., media).
  • Review requested payment terms and recommend their approval or rejection based on customer risk.
  • Advise Sales teams on additional collateral to reduce the risk of commercial losses.
  • Initiate and track the approval process for risk categories and credit limits according to the approval matrix.
  • Calculate risk categories based on external data and SAP payment behavior data, and revise system‑generated suggestions where needed.
  • Review daily high‑risk alerts from external agencies and assess their potential impact.
  • Inform the Collections and Sales teams about identified risks and propose mitigation actions.
  • Review monthly updates on less‑critical changes from external agencies and adjust risk categories accordingly.
  • Update and maintain customer master data in SAP (credit scores, limit calculation parameters, and adjustments to existing records).
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at improving credit risk management processes and overall optimization.
  • Monitor KPIs related to receivables, overdue payments, commercial losses, and the impact of credit limitations.
  • Use analytical tools such as Excel, Power BI and SAP to visualize data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Proactive mindset, ability to take ownership and strong communication skills.
  • A constructive and practical approach to problem‑solving and communication.
  • Willingness to learn new things and develop in the field of credit risk.
