Purpose: The Credit Recovery Program provides students who earn an RE grade at the end of the quarter with an opportunity to demonstrate subject competency and raise their final quarter grade to a passing score of 70. Upon successful completion of the required coursework, the student's quarter grade will be updated to a 70, and any work not turned in during the quarter will be marked exempt.
The grant allows four teachers to be paid at the contracted rate of $35 dollars an hour for eight 2.5-hour days after school over a period of two weeks. There are currently two hours of prep allowed per week, which is consolidated on Friday 10/29
