Our Consumer Lending team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) with the role of Credit Policy Officer
In this role, you will develop and enhance credit policies across acquisitions, underwriting, portfolio management, and collections. You will assess portfolio trends, evaluate policy effectiveness, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements. You will also collaborate with business units on product launches, ensuring sound risk criteria and a balanced risk-reward framework for the auto loans portfolio.

What the role will entail
Develop and maintain updated and competitive credit policies for acquisitions, underwriting, portfolio management, and collections
Analyze portfolio performance, credit test results, and market trends to identify opportunities, risks, and policy enhancements
Update credit policy manuals based on performance outcomes and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with business units on product program launches and ensure robust risk acceptance criteria
Review and endorse credit-related documents such as program papers, process manuals, and internal communications within agreed timelines
Maintain a balanced risk-reward environment that supports portfolio growth, market share, and manageable credit losses
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Banking, Finance, or related fields
At least 5 years of experience in consumer credit risk management, credit processing, approvals, collections, or portfolio analytics within the banking industry
Strong analytical skills with experience in data mining tools such as SAS or decision tree platforms
Solid understanding of credit lifecycle management and regulatory compliance
Strong communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills
Willing to work onsite in BGC, Taguig
