About the Role

This is 12 months Fixed term contract position

As a Credit Officer, you will need to ensure that all outstanding accounts, reconciliations, adjustments and refunds are processed/collected in a timely and effective manner.

Key roles and responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of overdue accounts.
  • Collect outstanding debts via phone calls and emails.
  • Liaise with facilities personnel regarding unpaid disputed resident accounts.
  • Ability to deal with internal stakeholders and provide solutions to resolve delinquent accounts.
  • Contacting and updating resident information for all DERP’s.
  • Processing customer refunds.
  • Assist the billing team at End of Month by handling call volumes.
  • Ad-hoc responsibilities as directed by the Credit Manager.

Essential Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Credit function
  • Strong Negotiation skills.
  • Accounting Qualified.
  • Aged Care experience highly desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in Epicor highly desirable.
  • Business to Customer collection experience is essential.

Core Competencies

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced complex environment.
  • Excellent customer service.
