Join Deloitte’s National Finance team as a Credit Officer on a 12-month parental leave contract. Based in our Western Sydney office with excellent flexibility, this is a great opportunity to bring your credit and stakeholder management capability to a high-performing team and make a meaningful impact across the business.
What will your typical day look like?
As a Credit Officer, you will play an important role in supporting Deloitte’s credit function, partnering with the Credit Manager to drive effective collections activity and deliver day-to-day support across the business.
Working closely with Partners and key stakeholders across the firm, you will help align credit activities to policy and support sound debtor and provisioning outcomes. Your responsibilities will include reconciling client accounts, issuing statements, building trusted stakeholder relationships, and ensuring compliance with Deloitte’s business rules, policies and processes.
About the team
National Finance plays an important role in supporting the financial strength of the firm and helping our business make confident, informed decisions. Within this, the Credit Management team focuses on managing credit risk, supporting healthy cash flow, and working closely with stakeholders across the business to drive strong financial outcomes.
As part of this team, you’ll sit at the intersection of finance, operations and stakeholder management. The work is fast-moving and practical, with a focus on reviewing credit risk, supporting collections activity, and partnering with internal teams to resolve issues and improve outcomes. It’s a team that combines sound judgement, commercial thinking and strong relationships to help keep the business running well.
