We are seeking an experienced Credit Manager to oversee all aspects of credit operations in our Suryapet branch. This role involves managing credit risk, ensuring compliance with lending policies, and leading a team to achieve business objectives while maintaining a healthy loan portfolio.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Manage the end-to-end credit assessment and approval process for various loan products.
* Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to evaluate creditworthiness of applicants.
* Develop and implement effective credit policies and procedures in line with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
* Monitor and manage the existing loan portfolio, identifying and mitigating potential credit risks.
* Lead, mentor, and train a team of credit officers and analysts, fostering a high-performance culture.
* Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support business growth while maintaining credit quality.
* Ensure timely and accurate reporting of credit activities, including portfolio performance and risk metrics.
* Handle customer queries and concerns related to credit, providing excellent service and conflict resolution.
* Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting credit operations.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CA, CFA) is a plus.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in credit management, preferably within a banking or financial services institution.
* Proven track record of managing credit risk and maintaining a healthy loan portfolio.
* Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
* Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
* In-depth knowledge of credit appraisal techniques, lending principles, and regulatory compliance (e.g., RBI guidelines).
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in credit management software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
* Fluency in Telugu and English is essential.
