Job Description

Your Role

As a Treasury & Credit Specialist, you will support the company's financial stability by managing treasury operations, monitoring cash flow, mitigating financial risks, and ensuring effective credit management practices. You will work closely with banks, insurance providers, customers, and internal stakeholders to optimize liquidity, support business operations, and safeguard the company's financial assets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a key contact for banks, financial institutions, and insurance providers.
  • Executing bank transfers and payment transactions while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintaining and updating guarantees, letters of credit, and related treasury documentation.
  • Monitoring cash flow forecasts and supporting liquidity planning activities.
  • Monitoring foreign exchange exposures and supporting the execution of hedging transactions in accordance with company policies.
  • Preparing and maintaining documentation related to factoring arrangements and supporting reconciliation activities.
  • Assessing customer creditworthiness and supporting the definition of appropriate credit terms.
  • Monitoring accounts receivable and credit exposure on a daily basis.
  • Managing collection activities and following up on overdue receivables to minimize financial risk.
  • Establishing and reviewing customer credit limits in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Supporting negotiations with receivables insurance providers and managing ongoing relationships with insurers.
  • Collaborating with Finance, Sales, and other business functions to ensure effective working capital management and risk mitigation.

Your Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in Treasury, Credit Management, Accounts Receivable, Finance Operations, or a similar role.
  • Good understanding of cash management, banking operations, liquidity monitoring, and foreign exchange exposure.
  • Experience in customer credit assessment, collections, and receivables management.
  • Familiarity with trade credit insurance, guarantees, letters of credit, and factoring processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess financial information and identify potential risks.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
  • Fluent English; additional languages are considered a plus.
