Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):

Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Two (2) years of full-time administrative experience in an office setting (Related graduate student work experience may be considered). Excellent computer skills; such as database management, data entry and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) or Google Applications.Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in student services at the college or university level (graduate student work experience may be considered). Knowledge of transfer student process. Experience with PeopleSoft Student Administrative Services. Experience determining transfer credit equivalents. Experience interacting with diverse populations.Brief Description of Duties:

The Credit Evaluation Services Generalist serves as an important team member within the Credit Evaluation Services area with direct responsibility for data entry of transcripts, managing the email inbox, and special projects as assigned. Collaborates with academic departments, faculty, and upholds the highest level of academic integrity and data accuracy. The Credit Evaluation Services Generalist provides transfer related services to students, staff, and faculty. Incumbent must possess outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience successfully working independently as well as part of a team with a collaborative approach to problem solving. Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Data Entry:Perform data entry of transcripts and test credits for all incoming and continuing transfer students as well as freshmen. Utilize Edvisorly/EddyAI, Slate and PeopleSoft software for data entry, retrieval of data, evaluation of credits and transcript review.Assist with Management of Email Inbox: Assist with managing the Credit evaluation Services email inbox. This entails responding to students, faculty and staff emails and troubleshooting transfer-related issues that students and staff encounter. Research and resolve credit evaluation issues. Ensure accuracy and conformity with University requirements to maintain institutional academic integrity. Special Projects: Special Projects as assigned including articulation of courses, syllabi collection, maintaining and updating credit evaluation spreadsheets within Google Drive Update Student RecordsReview current undergraduate bulletins, course descriptions and syllabi from transfer schools, and update student records for all incoming and continuing transfer students as well as freshmen. Ensure that orientation, registration, prerequisite screening, academic advising and degree audit processes are supported.Divisional Support: Participate in various Divisional and University programs and services including training/staff development, campus events, special events, admissions open houses, search committees, and University-wide committees. Other duties or projects as assigned as appropriate to rank and departmental mission.

Special Notes:

This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Non-Exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.

In addition to the employee's base salary, this position is eligible for $4000 UUP annual location pay, paid biweekly.
