The Credit Controller Analyst I is part of the Order to Cash team and is responsible for managing credit risk and collections for the North America region. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with payment terms, minimizing financial risk, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within credit and collections processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a medium-to-high complexity customer portfolio, ensuring timely payment follow-up, credit limit compliance, and order release management.
  • Perform credit risk assessments and financial analysis to recommend appropriate credit limits and payment terms.
  • Investigate and resolve disputes, credit/debit notes, and unapplied payments in coordination with internal teams.
  • Negotiate payment plans and follow up on overdue or high-risk accounts.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve inquiries and improve customer experience.
  • Use ERP systems, billing platforms, and collection tools such as Cforia/GetPaid to manage account activities.
  • Prepare financial reports and account statements related to accounts receivable.
  • Escalate uncollectible accounts and support processes involving collection agencies or legal teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (PPI), process documentation updates, and onboarding/training of new team members.
  • Participate in projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and analytical capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in Shared Service Centers.
  • English proficiency: B2+ level.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Cforia and/or GetPaid.
  • Experience generating and analyzing reports.
