Our Commercial team is looking for a Credit Controller in our Commercial Services and Transformation team, based at our Mount Waverley, VIC office (working hours:8:30AM–5:00PM) in a fixed term 18-month contract. And throughout it all, you’ll be supported by a collaborative, inclusive team that values curiosity, continuous learning, and working together to create real, lasting change. Together, we create value that strengthens our business and supports our people.

  • analyse account performance and provide insights on delinquency and trends
  • influence customers in line with agreed trading terms through strong negotiation and relationship-building
  • confidently navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • support a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

More About You

  • proficiency in MS Excel and experience working with ERP systems
  • a clear, professional communication style across phone, email, and digital platforms
  • excellent time management and the ability to juggle competing deadlines
  • confident negotiation and influencing skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the desire to make meaningful change

BlueScope’s long-term growth is underscored by the sustainability of steel and the critical role it will play in supporting a sustainable society.
