Your responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments and review the assessments on the credit proposals submitted by front line officers; exercise credit judgment; and make sound credit recommendations and/or decisions;
• Perform pro-active on-going credit monitoring and risk management on the client as well as portfolio level;
• Ensure all internal credit policies and procedures are adhered to and help to develop or enhance such policies and procedures;
• Ensure on-going compliance with regulatory requirements;
• Help to prepare various credit reports to be presented to Senior Management;
• Review of collection reports to ascertain status of collections and balances outstanding and reduce collection cycle times (DSO) where possible.
• Work closely with Commercial Teams to ensure collection guidelines are adhered to and issues quickly resolved / communicating with other departments including order entry, sales, logistics
• Negotiate and settle non-payment disputes with clients efficiently
• Researching and resolving disputes and deductions
• Supervise efficient working of collection teams and provide required assistance
• Setting objectives for Cash collection teams that align with Company goals
• Reporting to management ( explaining DSO figures, overdues etc)
• Support financial planning by forecasting cash
• Support the AR month end process
• Respond to request for information during internal audit
• Communicate effectively and maintains a professional relationship with external and internal customer
• Motivate the team
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance to ensure duties are properly performed and employees are working towards common business goals. This will include preparation of the

• SAP and financial systems knowledge
• Credit Risk and Cash Collection knowledge is a must
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal control procedures
• Prepares overdue reports, credit utilization summaries, and supports reporting to management.
• Understands and enforces compliance with internal credit & collection procedures, and external insurer requirements.
• Experience in managing bank guarantees and corporate guarantees, including validation and expiry tracking.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Language: leunt: English and Spanish
