RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Manage day to day operation within the risk framework
• Ensure credit and operational best practice is enforced within the team
• Maintain adherence to policy and process measures at all times
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness of loan application documents
• Ensure all required conditions and post requests have been actioned before final approval
• Ensure the availability and accessibility of all necessary documentation
• Provide exemplary levels of service to both internal and external customers
• Maintain strong communication and turnaround times associated with business processing
• Assess and identify the risk and credit worthiness of customers

SELECTION CRITERIA

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
• At least two (2) years of experience in underwriting processes
• Experience in the Australian mortgage and regulatory environment will be an advantage
• Demonstrated knowledge of the regulatory environment, with particular expertise in the NCCP, AML/CTF, and the Privacy Act
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Positive disposition and a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must have been in their current role for a minimum of 6 months at the time of application
