Team
The french based Finance Team works closely with all the departments across IQVIA supporting in the annual planning process; monthly forecasting & reporting on key KPIs metrics; annual filing of audited accounts & cash collection.
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, French Senior Credit & Collection specialist/Account Handler, to ensure the timely collection of all customer debt, for their given client alignment. The Credit Specialist will need to be comfortable approaching clients proactively for reconciliation and payment projections, after just 10 days from invoice date, with a strong emphasis on client facing/verbal communication. They will need to be confident presenting weekly/monthly calls on key accounts, with a view to influencing decisions, proactively resolving/coordinating resolution of all queries externally/internally (as to ensure settlement to payment term due dates). Target driven & confident, they will have to prioritise their workload efficiently, as to achieve their goals, whilst also being commercially considerate of their actions & the greater business strategy. They should be able to impress on internal staff, as to promote our “Order to cash/client-centric” Credit Management model throughout the business, so escalations of late/non-payment, are welcomed & acted upon promptly by business owners within IQVIA. They will need to be risk aware, reporting any “Credit risk red flags” to the Credit Director soonest, or Senior Account Managers to assess & escalate to our Global Risk Team. This role is vital in the cash flow of the organization, and as such, The Credit Specialist will be a key contributor, in our efforts to maximize cash collection. The 4 main KPI metrics they will be working towards are – Payment conversion rate % (volume based), Overdue VS Total AR $ %, 30 day+ & 60 day+ Vs Total AR $ %. ( no debt should be older than 60 days past due)
Key Responsibilities:
Debt collection/ high volume of calls for the local French client accounts & some Medium-small clients for Northern Europe scope
Management of Global complex Key Accounts- for our Northern Europe Hub/Collection Team (covering 13 profit centres). Leading weekly, BI-weekly calls where applicable.
Centralised EMEA collection for 1-2 key clients, within the EMEA Top 20 clients.
Coordinate proactive resolution of all queries (escalating to business owners or/& management where required). Working central to admin, billing and cash Teams as the only client facing element (in admin/finance support).
Hit all 4 weekly Collection targets & Reduce DSO month-on-month.
Cover team member(s) or Credit Manager’s ledger, in the event of absence.
Drive automation advancements on several projects (assist manager).
Building strong relationship with team, internal and external key accounts
Some management reporting cover required (will train)
Maintain a high level of “housekeeping” on the Ledger.
Maintain all accounts receivables, impairments, and write-offs.
Fully understand and influence improvements to “order to cash” processes (will train).
Skills, Education and Experience Required:
Higher level Educated. Degree (10–15-year work experience equivalent) preferred.
Confident, friendly but assertive. Excellent communication skills.
High level of oral & written grammar
Target driven, with an Elite performance level track record- “ Collection Excellence.”
A great negotiator
Good analytical skills
An excellent problem solver/efficient
Able to follow instructions from mgmt. to deadlines.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is €24,500.00 - €36,700.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
