Credit Analyst I

Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

The Credit Analyst is responsible for conducting thorough financial analyses of existing and prospective commercial clients. This role prepares detailed credit presentations for lenders, including recommended actions, and ensures all work complies with bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Compensation and Benefits

  • The pay range for this position is $23.00 to $35.00 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Working knowledge of accounting, economics, finance, mathematics, and risk analysis
  • Skilled in technical report writing
  • Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Helpful: basic understanding of commercial, real estate, and construction loan processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (travel to customer locations required)
