Citi continues to enhance its business control and governance framework by building out Institutional Credit Management (ICM), a first line of defense business line, to house and consistently manage credit risk activities performed for Citi’s institutional clients. ICM’s objective is to provide integrated end-to-end credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management, and monitoring for wholesale credit across the enterprise. Within ICM, the Credit Underwriting function (“ICM UW” or “UW”) provides credit analysis, underwriting, and first line of defense credit approval for periodic / material transaction reviews, and any necessary subsequent credit monitoring across all institutional business including Corporate Banking, Services, and Markets relationships.
Citi’s Services business provides global solutions that help corporations, financial institutions, public sector and commercial clients optimize operations and drive their business forward. Its Trade & Working Capital Solutions (“TTS”) business line provides integrated cash management, trade finance products and services to multinational corporations. Within trade finance, Citi offers comprehensive domestic and international trade receivables financing solutions, which is one of the fastest-growing segments. These structured finance programs help businesses to increase liquidity in the supply chain and reduce the risk inherent in trade flows.
ICM UW Analysts are responsible for credit risk analysis and monitoring of a portfolio of trade finance programs. The trade portfolio primarily covers two trade Receivables Finance Products (Distribution Finance “DF” & Credit Insured Accounts Receivable “CIAR”). This role reports to Trade ICM Underwriter Manager and is responsible to support on Annual Reviews, Quarterly Reviews, new-to-bank transactions, Risk Ratings, etc. in partnership with Trade Transactors, Product and Risk.
