Job Description
Ergon, Inc. is seeking a full-time Credit Analyst to join our Finance team in Flowood, MS. The Credit Analyst should be a detail-oriented professional to support our Credit team by managing credit files, processing customer applications, maintaining accurate records in SAP and HighRadius, and ensuring organized document control and mail distribution. This role provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to credit managers and department leadership, including customer communication, reporting, and special projects. Key Responsibilities:
- File, scan, and organize credit files and related documentation to ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance.
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming physical mail and emails to appropriate departmental inboxes.
- Maintain and manage the file room to ensure it remains organized and accessible.
- Support credit managers in processing customer credit applications as needed.
- Enter, create, verify, and update customer information in SAP and HighRadius systems at the direction of credit managers.
- Communicate with customers to obtain updated or missing information as requested.
- Provide administrative support to department personnel as needed.
- Assist the department manager with special projects and assigned initiatives.
- Perform administrative and back-office functions, including updating client records, processing applications, and preparing management reports.
- Provide general support to credit managers and department administrators.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the department manager.
Qualifications:
- A college degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Previous experience in administrative roles and tasks
