In this role you will report to the Credit Manager and will be an individual contributor to the Credit team. As a Credit Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organization, by managing and overseeing various credit functions. Your responsibilities will span from evaluating credit information forms, conducting thorough risk assessments, to ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining sound credit policies. Whether you are assessing the creditworthiness of potential clients or monitoring existing client updates, your expertise will be integral in safeguarding assets and supporting strategic growth initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assess financial stability of customers based on credit reporting data and payment history.
• Onboard new customer accounts by capturing data and creating customer profiles.
• Determine appropriate credit limits and work with Sales & finance to set appropriate payment terms.
• Maintain detailed records of credit activities.
• Communicate with sales team and finance regarding credit issues.
• Assist in the development and implementation of credit policies.
• Provide support during audits and regulatory reviews.
• Ensure compliance with company credit policies and legal requirements.
• Monitor ongoing client financial health and review existing credit lines regularly to adjust limits or terms as needed.
• Preserve precise documentation of credit approvals, credit lines, and risk profiles within Microsoft Dynamics 365 and CRM platforms.
• Create and maintain customer credit files in Microsoft Teams to include but not limited to Secretary of State registration, Duns & Bradstreet credit reports, and other customer-related credit documents.

Qualifications and Skills

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Or equivalent 2 to 4 years of experience in commercial. credit analysis, B2B credit risk administration or a related financial role.
• Hands-on experience with credit management software and ERP systems, preferably Microsoft. Dynamics 365 and enterprise CRM systems.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and credit analysis.
• Ability to analyze complex credit files.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations regarding credit data.
• Previous experience in credit administration or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, internal teams, and senior management.
• Proficiency with credit management and financial analysis tools.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
