
RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitoring credit risks for facilities under Grade 10 and Grade 20 to avert migration to NPL both at branch level and Regional Portfolio Management Office level.
Ensure compliance of all projects for construction facilities to conditions precedent and milestones are achieved upto completion of the projects.
Reviewing loan documentation, confirm compliance checks against KCB manuals, policies and statutory regulations before disbursement of construction funds and syndicated facilities.
Manage the staff-on-exit portfolio by ensuring timely conversion to public terms and timely payments to minimize migration to NPL status as well as ensure staff and ex staff overdrawn accounts are promptly regularized.
Ensure bank’s facilities are adequately secured upon completion of construction projects.
Follow up on insurance renewals to achieve 100% compliance, with the Bank’s interest (KCB Kenya) duly noted in respect to the mortgage facilities under construction.
Generate timely and analyze Management Information (MI) reports for effective portfolio control and comply with the regulatory reporting requirements.
Ensure compliance to covenants for corporate portfolio and assist with resolution of covenant breaches within the stipulated Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Action on file maintenance reports on booked facilities to ensure data accuracy and enable early remedial action where discrepancies are identified.
Maintain and update the deferrals register and the exceptions collaterals register for both Corporate and Mortgage portfolios.
Approve the release of securities for corporate customers and performance bonds for staff upon successful completion of staff loan construction projects.
