HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Coordinates the appointment, credentialing, and re-credentialing processes (under the Manager/Medical Staff Services’ general supervision) for medical and allied health staff members in accordance with Medical Staff Bylaws and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining medical and allied health staff members’ information in existing systems.
  • Provides information to requesting departments, hospitals, and agencies.
  • Plans, coordinates, and performs administrative activities for medical staff meetings and special affairs; assists the manager and committee chairs with fulfilling required functions.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or business administration

Required Experience:

  • One (1) year of payer enrollment or provider credentialling experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Web-based products proficiency.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

None

Preferred Certification/License/Registry: Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) credential(s) from the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS).
